CraftingEngine Documentation Hub
Welcome to the official documentation for CraftingEngine, an extensible, modular, multi-stage process and workstation engine for modern Minecraft servers (Paper and Purpur).
CraftingEngine bridges traditional crafting mechanics and immersive in-world gameplay. It enables instantaneous crafting (including shift-click bulk crafting for fast workstation recipes), while transforming advanced crafting into rich gameplay experiences: forging blades on physical anvils with rhythmic hammer strikes, assembling 3D multiblock structures, brewing complex alchemy elixirs in boiling cauldrons, and mastering interactive minigames with live action bars and floating holograms.
Core Gameplay Highlights
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+| CRAFTINGENGINE HIGHLIGHTS |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+| || [1. MANUAL ACTION CRAFTING] || Strike, quench, or chisel items placed directly on workstations in 3D || space using specialized tools. || || [2. 3D MULTIBLOCK STRUCTURES] || Construct furnaces, altars, and industrial machinery with virtual ghost || previews guiding player block placement. || || [3. FLOATING IN-WORLD HOLOGRAMS] || Real-time progress bars, timers, and checklists float above workstations || during active processes. || || [4. MATRIX INVENTORY MENUS] || Browse available recipes, verify ingredients, and inspect progress in || customizable 9xN inventory matrix GUIs. || || [5. NATIVE TRANSLATIONS (i18n)] || All messages, item lore, and interface elements automatically render in || each player's preferred Minecraft client language. || |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+Core Terminology
- Workstation: The physical block or multiblock structure (e.g. Anvil, Runic Forge, Cauldron) where crafting occurs.
- Process / Blueprint: A multi-stage recipe sequence that consumes inputs, verifies conditions, and yields outputs.
- Stage: A distinct crafting step (e.g. Smelting Hammering Quenching Sharpening).
- Manual Action: Striking or interacting with the workstation block in the world using a required tool.
- Ghost Preview: Packet-level translucent holographic outlines showing how to construct an incomplete multiblock structure.
- Capability: Modular station traits (e.g. heating, forging, pressure) evaluated dynamically during recipe execution.
